Dosage & Timing

What's Inside the Bar — The Formula

The bar has two components that together deliver the gut support profile:

The jelly centre (75% of the bar) is where the functional ingredients sit: Hydrolysed Bovine Collagen Peptides (25% of the centre), a Prebiotic Blend of Acacia Fibre, Tapioca Fibre, Cassava Syrup and Fibalance™ PHGG, L-Glutamine, Coconut Milk Powder, Ceylon Cinnamon Extract, and FloraSMART™ (Lactobacillus casei 327). The jelly format is what allows the postbiotic to survive manufacturing — FloraSMART™ is heat-killed (postbiotic rather than live probiotic), meaning it's inherently heat-stable and doesn't require refrigeration or live culture preservation.

The dark chocolate coating (25% of the bar) adds Inulin (Chicory) Fibre — itself a prebiotic — along with Palm Kernel Oil, Cocoa Powder (4%), Sunflower Lecithin, and Steviol Glycosides as a natural sweetener. The inulin in the coating adds to the total prebiotic fibre load and contributes to the bar's exceptionally high dietary fibre figure of 12.3g per serve.

The Prebiotic Fibre Stack

The bar contains multiple prebiotic fibre sources across both the centre and the coating — each with a slightly different fermentation profile and resident bacteria affinity:

• Fibalance™ PHGG (Partially Hydrolysed Guar Gum) — a soluble fibre well-studied for gut motility and low FODMAP tolerance. Feeds Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus species.
• Acacia Fibre — a gentle, well-tolerated soluble fibre with a slow fermentation rate, producing less gas than inulin while still nourishing beneficial bacteria.

Collagen is the primary structural protein in the gut lining itself, and the hydrolysed peptide form is easily absorbed and used for intestinal cell regeneration. L-Glutamine is included alongside it — the most abundant amino acid in the gut lining, used directly as fuel by intestinal epithelial cells.
